With more than two decades of senior-level and entrepreneurial career experience in communications and marketing, NYC/Metro-based Tamera Restuccia has worked for many of the nation’s top brands and leading corporations. Amid a number of roles, she has been charged with conceptualizing, planning and executing a wide spectrum of large- scale, high-profile events.
Tamera currently consults with a variety of companies. Recent projects include producing 3 Crusonia Forum Conferences in Miami and NYC to bring together Ag/Tech leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to invest in food for health. Tamera also produced an all-star fundraising gala for Bring Change to Mind founded by Glenn Close. BC2M is dedicated to bringing awareness and change for teens suffering with mental health issues.
Tamera was Executive Producer of The New York Times DealBook Conference with Andrew Ross Sorkin for its national debut in NYC, leading production for seven years. Prior to that, she was Director of Consumer Events and Conferences for The New York Times, charged with developing strategic partnerships with aligned organizations to help grow the global brand via live events. She was responsible for overseeing its event team to manage NYT’s Global TimesTalks program, the NYT Travel Show and all other consumer events. As Executive Producer for MediaSlopes in Park City, Utah, Tamera worked with LionTree Advisors to oversee the two-day forum catering to C-suite executives and headline talent, gathered to discuss the future of technology, communications, and consumer industries.
In addition, she also worked as Senior Event Producer for “The Weekend with Charlie Rose” in Aspen, Colorado, and as Event Planner Consultant for American Express, and the likes of Teen Vogue, Hearst Corp. G+J Corp., Family Circle, Fitness Magazine, Rosie Magazine, and NFL Properties.
Previous roles also include five years as VP of Programming Events for CEW and Director of Marketing Promotions for NYC’s renowned sports station, WFAN-AM and news station WOR-AM. In the latter role, she planned and managed live broadcasts, special events and marketing programs, while also producing the annual Taste of New York culinary event, with 10,000+ attendees.
Tamera is a founding board member of the Paper Fig Foundation striving to empower women and support sustainable community development in East Africa.
